Nitron Advisors CEO Speaks on Twelve Business Models around Blog Technologies

New York, NY—September 23, 2004—David Teten, CEO, Nitron Advisors, was invited to speak at the iBreakfast event “The Business of Blogging” at 40th Peking Park in New York on September 22. Mr. Teten spoke about the 12 business models around blog technologies.

Mr. Teten began his presentation by providing an overview of the traditional media and non-media business, which are leveraging blogs to create their virtual presence. He cited examples of traditional business using blogs, such as Shirky.com, Zephoria.org, and Zeldman.com. Mr. Teten also spoke about selling blog technology and various blog softwares, which are focused on individuals as well as enterprises. He also discussed about monetizing blogs through advertising, subscriptions, among others.
